Android Central Question

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if there is any option or app that would allow me to call an extension in my company without having to dial the full external number?
All the phone numbers for my company start with the same 6 numbers (416-776-xxxx), and j was just looking for a way to only have to dial the last 4 digits.

I'm currently using a Samsung Note 9 with the latest OS.

Welcome to Android Central! How about creating a contact for that specific extension, with the number being 4-6-776-xxxxpp[ext]? The two p's are for a pause -- if that doesn't work, you could try commas instead.

Does your phone tree require you to press a number first before you dial an extension? If so, include that in the contact number as well.

The short dial works on your office phone because the office phone is part of the internal phone system. All external phones, your cell phone included, need to dial the 10-digit externa number to reach the company phone system since they are external to the company phone system.

Diddy's post should get you to where you want to be.
