Not sure as I don't use waze but it will on Google maps just as google assistant does.Does anyone know if there is a way to get Bixby to pick a navigation location inside of Waze? Or will it just open the app and then you have to select destination manually.
Any success while in the car?I've found you have to play around with how you speak to Bixby. Eventually you'll get it to do what you want, and when you do, add it to the quick command and use the history to add the series of commands in the order you want.
You can get Bixby to take a photo. Just say: Hi Bixby, take a picture.I'm assuming that all these quick commands are spoken after the usual, "Hey Bixby..." correct? So far I have not used Bixby. Tried it early on and it didn't seem to do anything well. And then when I found out it disabled the camera function of taking photos verbally I ditched it altogether. If an update fixes that conflict I might give it a go again but I tend to not enjoy talking to the phone. I'm almost always around others and it just seems weird.
Maybe you have to give Bixby a specific level, or tell it to mute or unmute.Bixby is ticking me off. I have the good night bixby turn down volume and good morning bixby turn up volume and she says she does but doesn't. Grrr. Lol
I havn't really used it while driving other then quick command to launch my desired in car settings and apps.Any success while in the car?
When I say "Goodnight Bixby" I got her to say "Goodnight Dave" to me. that's it though. I tried after the command to say goodnight Bixby would close the screen but so far no luck. I do like that she says good night though....lol
Go to Bixby menu as in these screen shotsWhat is the secret to get Bixby to say a particular phrase, i.e., "Goodnight Dave"?
I'm not sure about that but I think that it is just a temporary notification until you've used the command a few times. I've noticed on most on the commands I've used frequently it no longer gives that notification.Another question about custom chat, if I may. When Bixby replies with my custom answer, it goes to the Bixby screen where you can hit the "Great" or "Teach Me" buttons or edit the custom chat. Is there a way to get it to simply reply to me and do nothing rather than going to that screen?
Something useful
It's opened every app that I've asked it to open. Just practice talking to Bixby, don't worry about the preset commands. Just talk to it and if your not getting the desired results, ask the question or task differently. Bixby is extremely literal so you have to talk your request through like your writing a direction in a manual.
For example, if I wanted to add something I ate to Samsung health to monitor my food intake, I can't just say hi Bixby, add spaghetti to my dinner. Instead I say hi Bixby, open Samsung health, go to dinner, add spaghetti.
Have you said "open waze and show directions to - - - -"?I can't get Bixby to open Waze. I would love to use this app instead of Google maps which Bixby automatically uses if asked for directions to any location.
