AC Question

Hello, probably many of you already know this problem but i tried so hard to find the solution for my problem...still not solved yet...so this is what im getting :
I have a notification that i cant get away called Sign-in Request and my gmail account under, after i press on its keep showing Checking info... but nothings happening. If im opening the tab where i see the opening apps, its showing Google Play services.
Im using HTC one M8s, please help.

I am seeing the same annoying "Sign-in Request" message on my Samsung Galaxy S4....I have 2 Gmail accounts on the phone and both are sync'g properly....I'd just like to remove the 2 notifications.....Any help is appreciated.

What happens if you long press on that notification and then tap on info? It should give you more details about the app that is sending that signing request. For some people this notification was sent from the gallery app. Check your sync settings there just in case.

Today is your lucky day as well as mine. i was serching how to sort this problem as i got the galaxy s5 today and had the problem with three emails..

First of all, slide town the top bar to see the notification. Hold the notification and you should be able to press a tittle "I" in a circle for information. Click that.

You should find yourself on "Google Play Services" (if not try and find it.) which should have A button for "Force Stop", Uninstall updates" and finally "Disable"... ignore them...
below disable the should be a tick box that is labeled "Show notification"

its as simple as un-tick and re-tick

i have re-ticked it and i have not received the notifications back..

Solution-
I had encountered the similar problem in my nexus 5x. At times, I was not able to log in my google account in android nougat, and it got stuck at 'checking info.' Also, it said that 'the sync is currently having an issue.' And sometimes Google Play Services would crash. To solve this-
Go to settings>Apps>Google Play Services>storage>Manage Space>Clear All Data
After that, I was able to log in my account in the first attempt.
Thank you.
