So I've had the photon 4g for about a month. Service has always been great on my apt. Great 3g great 4g. All of a sudden for past 2 days my service goes from 5 bars to none. In a, matter if second and no 3g data connection ever. at work our school is fine but out of nowhere when I got home it dosent work. I receive no text messages no calls even when on wifi. Nothing. Any help? used to be perfect when home all of a sudden not anymore.

I would do a battery pull, and reset the phone. Have there been any changes in your neighborhood, such as new buildings, things like that which could affect your signal? Sounds to me like a service issue in your area, especially if you are getting a signal in other parts of town, when you are most likely receiving a signal from a different tower than when are at home, assuming your home and work are not in the same neighborhood.

If that doesn't help, call Sprint Technical Support and see if there are any issues with service in your area. If could be something as simple as service being done on a tower. Ask them to create a work ticket, and get that ticket number. Give them a day or two, and call back to follow up. If you continue to have problems, ask about an Airave for your home.

thanks guys, i love this phone other than the random shut offs but i thought i must have dropped the phone or something causing it to lose signal, but it must be one of those tower workings, my family in the area has told me they had the same problems and they all got different phones. but lately its been gettting better, random drops but i atleast have 3g when it comes back lol. thanks!

If you truly have pore signal still, try calling Sprint and see if you can talk them into sending you a Airave @ no charge.
