I doubt stock is the issue. They sold Incredibles making people wait weeks to get theirs. I know, I was one who waited.

that wasn't verizon's fault though. maybe verizon learned after that debacle since they have not had any issues like that since. Plus samsung couldn't pump enough components out for htc which is why htc switched screens shortly after initial release.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with stock. I have called most VZW O&O's within 20 miles of my house, and only one has received a shipment.

I was about to say, that was a pretty huge deal and Verizon definitely got the negative press over it, so I doubt they'd likely repeat that whole event again with the Nexus, which is why stock is definitely a likely reason for the delay.
