Skype video chat issues

Hi
I"m using Verizon Galaxy S3. I have terrible problems while making Skype video calls through my phone. I download the original Skype app and not Verizon bound one. Video looks so blurry and greenish and breaking. I"m connected to a good Wifi connection in my home. No idea, why i am getting a bad video quality through this my G3. Please answer..

Did you try installing the app via. Verizon ? If no then try doing it. This should help you identify the problem area. I don't find a logical explanation to its non-functionality as of now.

Have you tried using another video chat program, like, Google+?

Thanks for the reply. I'm having issues with only Skype. Other video chats working fine.
