Not with video. I know I have downloaded some other things meant for the evo and they worked. Wondered if this could solve the issue.

So does this mean I can "update" Skype in the market update and it work? Or do I need to uninstall the version I downloaded from your dropbox and then download skype from the market? I'm sorry new here.

Ok thanks for your efforts and all your help. Do I lose all my linked contacts that I manually linked myself or is there a way I can save the newly linked contacts before i uninstall and then reinstall?

Thank you. I must say that your posted version has helped perfectly in the interim.

Update: I installed the official market version and it works. However the camera orientation is weird at times (i.e. shows upside down on remote end unless you both have the phone in the same orientation).

Ok so after all we should keep this thread open. I loaded some custom ROMs and on some Skype doesn't have the video call option. I loaded this version again and its back. So if you're running a custom ROM you will probably need this version.
