So is this running gingerbread then with Sense 2.0? CM7 is mentioned which makes me think it's gingerbread, but I don't see this stated explicitly anywhere.

OK, I'm not sure if I have a problem. I just rooted my Dinc and installed Skyraider 4. I've been sitting here for the last 20 minutes watching the Skyraider logo spin and nothing else. Is it just loading the ROM?

No - it's not Gingerbread - it's Froyo. It's been themed like Gingerbread and it has elements from CM7 baked in, but under the covers it's Froyo.

It is a very long first boot. Did it ever start?

Also, make sure you do not download the wrong ROM like I did. The Supersonic download in on the same page as the Incredible download.

I had no long term issues in using the wrong ROM other than it would never boot, which is to be expected

I am glad too... I love the "other" ROM... "wink wink"... but battery life on SkyRaider is absolutely amazing... I can go all day on a charge... with the other ROM i better carry around my charger cuz i know ill need it before the day is over...

Im just puzzled that the wireless tether wasn't built into the setting menu... anyway. I DID find it thank you for the help... And I am back on this ROM.

I have a question (perhaps ill post this in the General discussion forum)... SO, with all of the amazing ROMs out there to choose from, when will ROM evolution take place? what do I mean you ask? Well, If i were able to make ROM's (which I cant) I would take a poll on XDA and on AC, I would want to know which ROMs that people like the most and Why; specifically what about that said rom makes them happy. I would then compile that data into creating a Perfect ROM that has alittle bit of what everyone likes built into it. I don't know what I would name it but It would be the ROM of all ROMs... everyone would love it because it would have alittle of everything that everyone likes... When will and Why hasn't this happened yet?

If I had to guess why there's no "perfect superamazing ROM" its because everyones needs and wants are different. The problem with trying to stick something everyone likes into one package usually means other things get left out or don't work so well. Everything is a compromise and usually you can do a few things really well or lots of things just so-so.

anyhoo.. I am super glad to be back on this ROM... its battery life is the MAIN reason I love it so much, that and the fact that it's alittle CM and sense baked together... and now that I have full camera capabilities and wireless tether, i really don't see myself being pulled away from this ROM anytime soon

Not sure what happened today. Since flashing this rom I have had good battery life, but today for some reason I just burned thru a 3000 mah battery in 7 hours....showed 4 hours of awake time. Hope it was just a fluke. LOL.

Today more normal usage and also running stock launcher battery life has been great

check under spare parts and see which app or process is running the most... Also, have you changed a screensaver? How is your wifi settings set up? did you do anything at all differently than yesterday? try to remember... anything may help me to help you... also, have you DL any new apps? if so, do they require background syncing? Im trying to ask, so I can properly diagnose the situation I get awesome battery life... I have all my I uninstalled the Facebook for sense and installed the regular facebook. I also got rid of Peep and use twitter instead. I have everything that requires syncing to sync as little as possible. the only think I have synced to "often" is my Yahoomail... my life revolves around that app, cuz of work and I get noticifcations from this site and other sites as well when someone responds to a thread post just try and think and let me know...

just remembered... How long have you been running this ROM for... if you have been running it for a while... it never hurts to manually wipe cache and dalvik JUST DON"T select full data wipe

First, I should say that I'm absolutely loving this SR 4.0.

The only thing that I want to change is the keyboard. I really liked the stock keyboard in 3.5 (which I think was the same sense 2.0 as stock) so I downloaded the zip (http://skyraider.us/xda/goodies/FeatureAdd_HtcKeyboard.zip) but I have no idea how to 'apply' it. Any help with this?
