Skyraider and Hotspot

So, I flashed Skyraider this morning, and I must say, I love it. Very nice combination of CM7 and Sense.

Anyway, the only issue I have run into so far is that I can't turn off the WiFi hotspot once it is on. It asks for SU permission, then SU force closes and the hotspot stays active.

When I reboot, the hotspot is turned off, but if I activate it again, I can't shut it off without another reboot.

Any ideas? Should I reflash Skyraider?

Can't remember if I flashed this one with ROM Manager, or manually. Would that make any difference?

Try updating Superuser in the market.

If you have the wireless hotspot in stalled from the market, you may need to uninstall it as I believe Skyraider comes with its own version and the two don't play well together.

Yeah, I noticed that when I flashed CM7 the other day and installed wireless tether, not knowing that CM7 came with the app baked in.

In any case, I reflashed Skyraider manually, and it prompted me to update SU after I set up my Google account and let it finish syncing. It also prompted me to update SU's binary, which took a couple tries before it was successful. Once that was over, I tried the tether app and it worked perfectly.

Thanks guys! It was probably just SU needed an update in the first place, and it never prompted me, or I didn't notice it when it did. This was only the third ROM I flashed, CM7 being the first, and Virtuous being the second. Very new to this, but I am so glad I finally took the plunge.
