Slow Photo Gallery

After the 2.2 update, every photo gallery program I try is incredibly sluggish and slow to load photos. My old 3d gallery wont even load half my pictures. Is everyone having this same problem?

I have actually noticed this too. I switched to grid view and it helped a little bit, but my guess it has something to do with reading the memory card.

I don't know which 3D Gallery you're using but there is a 2.2 version from the Desire floating around. It does take quite a while for it to gather and process all the photos on your card, plus it pulls in your Picasa gallery photos if you have one. It you connect the phone to a computer to move stuff around on the card, it seems to start over with the collection process. Once everything is loaded up, it's fast. I have a ton of pictures on my phone that I copied to it or took with the camera plus Picasa.
