Hi, i'm in quite the deep **** with my phone.
I purchased S7 Edge international version last October, and rooted it straight away without any problems, today I tried to update Android to Nougat with the Smart Switch PC app.
It failed and got my phone stuck at the "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software" screen.
Needless to say the emergency recovery functionality failed every time I tried it.
I could not access the recovery screen, but I could access the download mode, so i tried factory resetting through the same software. It failed every time as well.
After this i installed Adb, Fastboot and Odin, and tried to flash Nougat firmware through it, but it failed every time.
Adb doesn't even see that the phone is connected, even though i have installed drivers, and Odin does.
First try failed at system.img, second failed at boot.img, third failed at setupconnection.
The firmware i downloaded is named G935FXXU1DQD7_G935FNEE1DQD2_NEE.zip and it's supposed to be for this model.
I'm leaving to army Monday morning so getting this phone to work is a huge priority for me, so if anybody is able to help me get this to work I'll gladly paypal 20€ for the trouble.
