So If I have the correct cable will I be able to connect my USB flash memory stick to this phone? If so will the phone be able to read/write files from/to this stick? So like with the correct app it could read or write pictures, or data, or music from/to the stick?

That's correct, yes. As long as you have the right adapter cable, as mentioned above, you should be good to go.

i would hardly consider .3" "pretty large" comparing the two. it is no doubt bigger but .5" is not going to make it not fit in a cargo short pocket!

The phone is almost identical in size to the Revolution. So I think I'll be alright with the size. As long as it's thinner than both the Thunderbolt and the Revolution, then I'll be alright.

Yeah if you go to that link above and select LG and then Revolution, you'll see. You can actually drag the GNexus over the Revolution and see the difference. The GNexus is 7.5mm taller and 0.94mm wider. In all actuality I guess it's closer to the size of the Charge.

I would say its more inline with the Bolt in terms of size. but its nothing like the infuse and other larger phones.. its all screen so that gives it the feeling of a smaller device. I actually like it more than the razr in the hand..
