So... All day battery life???

Something not right , check the device maintenance app and see if any apps are giving issues

I have tried everything. Will do a hard reset tonight as a last resort. Samsung tells me not to install any apps and test. Well of course battery life will be great when I don't use it.

Yeah try rebooting and see if it clears any glitch , if still happening then safe mode and watch how battery life is

No I meant restoring factory defaults u unfortunately.

Tried safe mode already and got about 17 hrs battery life with 5 hrs screen on time.

Before you do that , try looking here and tap on the top right notepad and see any apps acting up

My note 9 literally loses battery at the same rate as my iphone x did. I usually take the phone off the charger at 6 a.m. Around 12, the battery is down to the 70s. I work from 8 to 11 so no access to the phone at that point. When I do use the phone, I am checking emails, Instagram, FB, and listening to a podcast on soundcloud. Is anyone else seeing their battery life not last "all day"?

Yeah even my Note 9 doesn't last all day, even at idle i see there is a lot of battery drain.
Battery stats shows Android systems and android OS are draining it.

One of the biggest battery hogs is the biometrics services. Not sure if there is an easy way to disable without putting the phone into maximum power saving mode. I know people may not want solely use their pin code but it saves a ton of battery.

Doesn't last all day for me. If I don't use it, it will last for days. I use it just like I used my note 8 and the battery life is comparable. I was thinking it drains faster due to the more memory. I have the 512gig note 9. It sure it's fast tho. I love it and don't really care that it doesn't last all day

My battery is definitely WAY better than my Note 8 and I am so satisfied!

I love it. So happy I switched from my note 8. 3 days later the battery is just getting better

I really don't understand how you do it. Barely used my phone, already 10% is gone. If I'm lucky I make it from 6 AM to 9 PM...

I don't do anything really. just have it set to high performance mode and I dont use wifi. I have never been able to get the batter below 30% that's with 7 hours screen time and 18+hours of the charger. my note 8 lasted max 5 hours at 2% mostly 4:30 hour sot and I though that was good till I got this phone. I've never seen battery like this with any past phone.

Here's mines from today, I'd say it's awesome compared to the note 8! (SD 845, all LTE)

This is from 6 am to 11pm. I'm ok with this. I honestly don't expect to get a full 24 hours off the battery especially if I'm using the phone all day .Screenshot_20180904-230919_Settings.jpg

Here is another one of mine. Using battery saver on mid for a few hours, idle during sleep at night for about 8 hrs and no heavy apps (no gaming, no social, no videos).

Is this what I realistically can expect from the Note 9?
My wife has an S8+ and she gets almost double the battery life and uses Instagram, Facebook and Spotify for hours on a day.
