I let this process consume me every year and I'm hoping this year is a little different. Last year, I was finally dumping the Galaxy Z Fold 3 which I hated using as a daily driver, because I had to use that skinny outer display. With a protective case, it made it even worse.

But this year, I'm still kinda hearing that logical side of my brain asking, "why the hell did you do that?"

My biggest gripes about the S24U came down to a less than stellar camera (really not great for such an expensive flagship) and that oleophobic coating wearing off, making me install a screen protector and losing that beautiful anti-glare. The display was a ridiculous smudge magnet to the point I couldn't swipe typing.

there isn't even an "express shipping" option for an additional fee!!

I know. I used my debit card like I have every year and this is the first time it's been taken this quick! So it's definitely a first for me!
