I was wondering if anyone knows of a way, after the phone has locked up, to do a reset that does not require opening up the back and pulling the battery.

My previous phone you could hold down power and toggle the mute switch 3 or 4 times and the phone rebooted.

I'm hoping a trick like that is available for Admiral...

On other Motorola android phones you can press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons for about 10 seconds. I imagine that it is the same on the Admiral, although pulling the battery is probably just as easy.

I meant to reply earlier, but this didn't seem to work for me, even when the phone was not locked up.

thanks for replying though, much appreciated.

I guess I shouldn't jinx it, but I've yet to have my Admiral freeze to the point of needing a battery pull. I could see how that would be a PITA though, that back certainly isn't the easiest to get off.

I figured this would work, too, but it didn't. I haven't found a reset button to keep me form pulling the battery.
