Some Facts about the Thunderbolt

This is the exact same phone we will be getting. No doubt about it. Its just as to when is the question!!

I got this information from another forum where the person ACTUALLY has the phone in hand and provided pictures of the phone and the box with the phone and his name on a piece of paper behind it. With all the rumors that have been spread lately, this guy states alot of facts about the phone.
1. It comes with 2.2.1 installed
2. NO netflix
3. The battery is 1400 mah
4. Skype does come installed on the phone
5. It will do voice and data at the same time on 3G.
That's about all for now but it atleast will not get people's hopes up that think it will come with a bigger battery or netflix. He does say that the battery is not near as bad as some people have reported.
You can search droid forums and find the same info, but I just figured I would share since everyone was given false information yesterday.

The in-store marketing materials were probably designed and ordered months ago.

I mean, they may release an update on day 1 but your phone out of the box will be just like his. The phones are at Verizon ready to go, do you think they are going to open them up and update everyone of them?

definitely annoyed at vzw, if i know they are launching the darn phone in april or may, i would very likely go ahead with another phone. i dont care enough about LTE that much to keep waiting. anybody remember how the first rumor started? Verizon DID say 1Q2011 right??? i forget already, since there've been so many darn delays @.@

Agree 100%! If I would have know this phone was due mid March-April I would have upgraded to a Droid X or DInc by now...

The in-store pamphlet was most likely made weeks ago when the launch was originally scheduled.

I wouldn't call Be(n^inf) a liar until what he said is disproven. The lack of evidence means nothing because we haven't necessarily learned everything yet.

Me too but people insist on arguing when all I am doing is trying to give them information. Actual FACTS, not something that some guy says is going to happen and its WAY past 11 and nothing still. I just wanted to share about the phone. Im done posting here.

I wasn't calling him a liar, I was just pointing out that the materials highlighting the main features of the device conveinently omit Netflix. IMO, Netflix would be a big enough deal to reprint these materials. These are likely an old copy produced weeks ago, I agree.

I do think that we should take these rumors produced without a thread of evidence with a grain of salt (or a few). The fact that you can't disprove a rumor does not give it any creedence. We can't disprove there's no cupholder on the new rev of the device now can we?
