some music not playing on my Galaxy S7.

[AC Question]

I have just loaded my S7 with some music tracks. Certain tracks will not play and I am getting the message "Sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file". I think the ones that won't play, used to be saved in itunes. I have checked the properties of the ones that play and the ones that don't. they are all saved as mp3's.
Any ideas?

Were you able to play these before? How old are those MP3? I think iTunes doesn't do that anymore, but a long time ago MP3 files downloaded from their store were encrypted and would only play in the associated iTunes player and account.

Have you tried a different music player or media player like VLC Player? Also, if you're saving your music on an SD Card, it could be possible that the file is corrupted/damaged.
