Someone please tell me how to permanently delete Bixby

Even after disabling the Bixby button it still continues to activate Bixby if I accidentally hold the botton too long, and then after it reactivating it will then go to Bixby when just touching the button, but if I go to to the Bixby Settings it shows the Bixby button as "inactive" even though it is clearly active. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8.

The best option I found is to download bXactions and disable or reassign it. Use the computer step to eliminate the Bixby from flashing as is instructed.
