Something is taking up all my internal memory

So I recently got the message that I was running out of space on my internal storage. I was quite surprised as this tablet wasn't loaded down with applications or files, no music or movies. I went into the Memory section and it says i have 9 gigs of Misc. Files stored on the tablet. I've done everything I can short of a factory reset to get rid of these. I've looked through every directory and even the tablet only shows me about a gig worth of extra stuff in the Misc. Category. I have tried multiple cleaning programs and Nothing can get rid of these files. I'm kinda out of ideas here. So if anyone has a clue as to what could be taking up this space or how to get a TRUE file directory that can show me where these files are I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.
