They pushed an update a week or so ago specifically for the camera. The changelog was posted somewhere on here but I can't remember what thread it was in.

I haven't tested my S8 plus over there yet so not sure if it will. So far with my dog it has been fine.. but I've only had it since yesterday so we shall see.
If anything she needs a bath.

LG is going to have a big problem on their hands. Attached are photos of my friends LG G6. She takes decent care of her devices. Doesn't drop them. This is crazy !!!!!!

Looks to me like it's scuffed up pretty good. Is this just from normal use or what? Kinda looks like it was rubbed up with dry cardboard.

I have both and that cant be normal use. Unless by normal use you mean sliding it across tables and concrete. That phone has been abused.

Sliding on surfaces could be doing it. You never really know what small abrasive particles are on that surface. I've always been sure to rest my device down and not slide it. Now that I have an S8+, I'm going to have to be even more careful

That phone has been slid across an abrasive surface multiple times. Any phone will do that if treated like crap. If this was an issue plenty of us on here would be going crazy. Since its not yours you can't say how she does or doesn't treat her phone. Sorry but that's negligence and nothing more.

I have both the S8+ and G6, honestly I'm not expecting S8+ to do any better if you aren't using a case. They both are glass backs and they are going to get scratched up. Sure may be the LG scratches more easily than the S8+? I don't know may be, but I'm not expecting either the G6 or the S8+ to look scratch free if you aren't using a case.
On the other hand, I have seen reports of camera scratches easily on the G6, that's just not acceptable.

The camera lens scratches are very problematic. It appears to be the black version that's dealing with that. I returned my first g6 for that reason but the 2nd one hasnt had the issue.

Yeah I have the Platinum version and at least I haven't seen scratches on the camera. That's true most reports are on the black version.

That isn't casual everyday wear. There is more to the story.
It is Gorilla Glass, not much more they can do to prevent scratches or protect the thing. Not like they are using cheap no name glass.

You guys should just admit that it isn't made as well as it could be. The scratches on the camera cover are a known issue.
