Is anyone getting 5g on them from a google Pixel 5g phone? Specifically the nationwide sub-6 5g. Both if it was purchased from Spectrum or BYOD. I'm not seeing any on my P5 byod. Had the sim reprovisioned OTA but no luck. I do have the Verizon Nov update. Waiting to see if the Dec update helps. Or maybe Spectrum hasn't enabled sub-6 yet? I don't know.

Latest info on Google still (I believe) shows sub-6 "coming soon" for Spectrum.

Spectrum IS Verizon, so a phone working on Verizon should work on Spectrum. (Spectrum is an MVNO using Verizon towers.) Look at the Verizon assignments for 5G where you are to see if it's possible to get 5G there. If not, using Spectrum won't make it available. If it's available, see if anyone at Spectrum knows more than reading to you from the list of answers - Spectrum may not have bought 5G connectivity from Verizon.

Thanks for the response. Spectrum 5g coverage map basically is the same as VZ map, so I'm assuming that 5g should be available. I'm in a covered area and have traveled through this area. Have not seen a 5g icon pop up. I'm just wondering if there needs to be a software update on my byod P5 to make it work. They do sell the P5 but I don't know if the software is slightly different on their devices. Basically asking these questions because of the software upgrade last month that was needed to make the P5 work on VZ. I do have the latest update that is tagged for VZ.

Guess I'll ccontinue to contact support until I find someone that really knows about this.
