Just ordered the Ultra and the NEO. Couldn't make up my mind which one I like better. I figure for $20 it's worth it to find out which one I like better.

I'm torn on both. The Ultra seems thicker than the Neo based on the picture (comparing the lip around the camera). I'm tempted to buy both like you.

Doesn't look like XDA has answered your question any faster.

Mine is arriving on Monday, so I went ahead and just ordered the case. It'll tide me over until the official Nexus cases are in stock again, or get the Spigen Neo Hybrid later.

Just received my gold Neo Hybrid and phone will be here Monday :-D And The Neo Hybrid is thinner than the Slim Armor (at least the S4 version was).

I hear the neo hybrids for other phones broke easy, like there was no reinforcement on the part where you'd plug in a charger. Does the plastic around the charging port look more rugged? Could you possibly post more pics of the case?

Yea I wouldn't say the frame is strong, it will dent/chip easily if dropped however they did make the hole bigger where the charging port is. Luckily I don't drop my phone (knock on wood) and this case keeps it slim.

awesome. thanks for the pics. yea i rarely drop my phone. i treat it like a baby haha. as long as the frame can hold up i guess everyday wear i'm fine with it

I have both neo and slim in expectation of the phone Monday, but just from quick feelings on the cases I can say the neo feels "slippery" compared to the thin armor. I feel like it isn't as easy to hold/grip than the slim armor despite having better overall coverage.

I really like the slimness of the neo hybrid but a friend has it for his S4 and I find it really slippery and hard to hold maybe because it doesnt quite have curves to it. Not sure how different the slim armour is but I do like that it seems like it will provide more protection so I will likely go with that one

No problem guys. Yea it definitely is slippery and isn't the most protective but still one of my favorite cases. And I will report back tomorrow with pics when I get the phone!
