Sprint Early Upgrade for Evo 3D

you have to join the forum section at sprintusers and make 10 posts so you can PM the OP of the thread, "Sprint Premier Team Member Here To Help w/ Lost Upgrades" His name is Art something, and apparently he will fix this early upgrade mess for you.
I couldn't find the thread with Art. But I found one with Jose from Sprint.

I didn't have to make 10 posts. The PM link was already enabled. Waiting to hear back from Jose :)
Thanks for all the tips.

I was told yesterday by an in store Sprint rep that the upgrade figure is towards the retail cost not after rebate price. Is this true?

Que?
I was told by Sprint it was $199 with the upgrade taken.
I got them to give me one as a courtesy, but I cannot pre order and need to call telesales to get it.

If you're not eligible for a full upgrade yes, you get $75 off but no rebates or instant savings.

I called sprint on Sunday and they said they gave me back my upgrade. I didn't see it on my account page on sprint.com so I called back tuesday and they said it could take up to 72 hours to show. Called back again today 4 days later and was told that the upgrade won't show but is available but only through sprint telesales. I wanted to get the phone through radio shack

I have had the evo 4g since launch I checked my upgrade status on march 31 by texting upgrade to 1311 and sprint texted me back saying I was available for 150 rebate with 2 yr contract on 6/1/2011 I still have the text. I call sprint today and the guy tells me I can't upgrade until April 2012? I am now pissed off can I make sprint live up to this text I have from them? I've been a customer for 8 years.

im confused as to why i was able to just walk into a store and ask if i was eligible for an upgrade and they said i was. i got an evo on launch day and it was my first sprint phone. definitely not complaining just wondering why others are having to jump through hoops

You should be able to walk into a Sprint store and find out any information about your account. I have one down the street and they are very helpful when we are out and want to know something.

+1 for Jose. He helped me out too. He got back to me within 12 hours and I was good to go.

I just signed a 2 year contract last year when I got my Evo 4g. I have the 69.99 plan and it looks like I can only get 75 dollars off. I pre-ordered at Best Buy. Any way of getting a bigger discount or is 75 dollars the most I will get?

You guys and gals know sprint is offering $150 trade in for a working EVO 4G right? As well as your upgrade discount. I got it in an email recently. Don't recall for sure if it was Premier only but I do know its true! Check into it. It might help alot of you not eligible for upgrade quite yet.

What plan are you on? If you are paying enough on a plan, then you might qualify as a Gold Premiere member, which would mean that you are eligible for the yearly full upgrade. If not, did you specify a full upgrade? because they might have told you you were eligible, but not that it was only the $75 version.

March 31 was the last day of the old premiere service, then they switched to the tiered approach. Most people have been able to get a one time exception for an early full upgrade by asking.

I bought the samsung epic on launch and I have a $75 upgrade on 8/01 and I was planning on buying the htc evo3d on my upgrade but I only have the $75 upgrade and I don't know what to do
