Sprint: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

For those who don't like screen protectors lol (saw this on reddit and has been verified by sprint staff on reddit. Deductibles will stay the same but screen repair are all $29)

I received this notice in the mail over the weekend. With this new "Sprint Complete" Insurance my monthly payment is increasing to $19.00!
I will be cancelling my insurance.

I'm shopping around for better insurance. But the $19/mo don't bother me since I don't have to pay for service on the family plan we have. The only thing I don't like is that although the screen repairs are cheap, we will more than likely loose water resistance.

I'm glad yall mentioned this, I hadn't even read the letter they sent. Great screen repair price but it's a steep insurance payment especially since I pay for 4 phones on our family plan! I'm not sure this is a good thing. I've never even cracked a screen before. Ever!

Wow that's basically $80 for insurance.. I would definitely shop around since you don't break your screens.
Man i'm seriously tempted to drop that insurance. But then I know my luck...the day after I do my phone will get run over by an 18 wheeler or something even though I haven't had to use the insurance on a phone since the htc touch pro.
Im in the same boat too. I have NEVER cracked a phone screen.
Dropping this insurance I will miss the convenience of taking my phones to a Sprint Repair store and them fixing it at No Cost. Over the years I have taken my phone to Sprint to fix minor issues like a jammed side button and software issues where they have even replaced my phone with a new one at no cost. 6 months ago I had to take my Note 8 to them after my notifications started to lag after a major software update. Sprint didn't have the software so they had to ship it back to Samsung to fix. Turnaround time was a week and they gave me a loaner.
FYI my Note 8 still lags horribly on notifications. My phone will literally start going crazy out of the blue going off with notifications in bulk that i have received in the past 30 minutes.
Main reason why I am upgrading smh
I will take a look at Samsung's Insurance Program

Well, finally gave in!
Pre-ordered 2 Note 9 phones about 5 hours ago; one for me, one for my brother.
Both blue, and with 4/128 GB of course.
The way I see it, if I survived with 32 GB on my GS7 edge and am surviving just fine with 64 GB on my Note 8.
There's no need for 512 GB on my next phone.
Although, it would've been better to get 256 GB instead of 128 GB!

Pre-ordered on the 15th, just checked my status...still reporting that it will ship the 22nd or 23rd and now shipping label. Is anyone else actually seeing shipping information?

Nice!!! Now I hope I see movement soon. Mine is ordered throug Samsung site though, factory unlocked. Hope they all start heading out.
You can track on your Fedex/Ups app too if you setup a login for tracking incoming shipments to residential locations
