Sprint Gives S9 Customers a Piece of the Galaxy.

Starting March 16 and while supplies last, customers can redeem their star from the International Star Registry at Get a Galaxy, Get a Piece of the Galaxy from Sprint. Each star comes with the opportunity to create a custom name – so go ahead and name a star after yourself, your pet, or your favorite person as a gift. Although every star will get a unique name, together they’ll form the Sprint Constellation.

This is cool. I gave my girlfriend a star for her bday last year and she loved the concept. I thought it was a lil cheesy but cool and a rather different idea at the same time. I felt like it was a hoax just to get people's Money, however the idea made it worth it. Just my opinion though.

Kinda cheesy but a cool idea. I gave one to my wife about 10 years ago.
This deal is worth $65.00 with shipping and it's free through Sprint, so good on them.
I, of course, named my star "VW Maverick" so I will now live forever in the Cygnus constellation.

Why do you have to be homosexual to name these stars?
By the way, the names only apply to you (whoever you gift this to) and Sprint. There is an international board of astronomers that really name the stars.
