Sprint htc hero hardware question

hey guys so i apologize if this question has been answered already but if it has i havent found it. ive noticed on my hero that there is a very slight gap between the hardware button plate and the bottom of the screen and a very slight gap on the left and right side of the screen. im just curios if this is normal or if i have a bunk phone. thanks in advance guys

Yeah, I got that too, mine is only on the left side though. Not a big deal to me, and I have the Sprint insurance so if it does become a problem, I'll just get a new one, but I don't think it's actually a problem with the phone.

so you dont have any gap at all on the bottom? the ones on the side dont bother me too much because i dont really notice them but if the screen is on light shines through the gap in the bottom

No, I only have a slight gap below the screen, not on the sides at all.
