I just updated my htc one ( on sprint) and now , I have a weaker 4G signal; it only allows me one bar ( 2 at the most). Before I use to receive full 4G service.
And now i have a N icon on my status bar as well.

No telling how long it will be before things are addressed. Could be soon. Could be never. The update is not a deal breaker IMO.How long should I hold off on this update? The icon is pretty annoying but it seems like there are some kinks to be worked out.
How long can I expect for it to take to iron them out? Should I just take the plunge?

Now my battery is draining bad! I didn't say anything at first, and wanted to give it some time. Well, it's bad.
Full charge at 7:30 am. 9% left at 3:00 pm. Usually, I have about 50% left at that time. I even barely used my phone today.
I have Google Loaction services turned off, and I even increased the amount of time between updates on my apps.

I cannot send/receive an SMS or dial/receive a call post update. I went to a Sprint Store and they said there is nothing they can do and this is an HTC problem. Is there a patch coming soon? Anything else out there that might help? I'm told I cannot downgrade post update.
Anybody notice that when you upload a photo in Facebook and that check mark notification that it does after its done, won't leave the home screen on the left corner, no matter how many times you tap on it to go away, it just doesn't, I don't know if its because of the system update or not, I regret downloading this new update
Perform a factory reset. You have the option to backup your music, photos, apps. I did it with mine and battery is as good (if not better) than before...
I did. No change.

What issues/problems are you concerned with the most?

What issues are you talking about? I did the update two days ago and my phone is running great.

Battery life and wi-fi are the most worrisome to me. Going through a factory reset is not something I particularly want to go through if something goes bad. Setting phones up the way I like 'em is a pain in the ***, lol.
What should I do?
