Sprint HTC One - No LTE?!?!

My old phone was an HTC One! I just exchanged it for a different one since the camera was defective. So, my first HTC One got 4G and my second one doesn't. It's weird.

Sprint is currently rolling out 4G LTE to many areas using the 800/1900 MHz bands. (Otherwise known as LTE Band Class 26/25, respectively) All current LTE-capable phones on Sprint only support the 1900 MHz (Band 25) band for LTE. This includes the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4, and (of course) the HTC One. These devices do not include LTE support for the 800 MHz band because Sprint did not get approval for the use of their 800 Mhz Spectrum off their iDen network until too late for these devices. What's strange though is that all of these phones show support for the 800 MHz band for 3G, Hopefully this means that software updates will come out for some of these devices implementing support for 800 MHz LTE. The fluctuations in LTE coverage between devices could be caused by antennae placement (Think of the Antennaegate fiasco from iPhone 4). The HTC One is full metal, while the HTC EVO 4G LTE was not, this might interfere with the cellular signal.

Contact sprint and have them verify your SIM card ID. Many users that had their phone replaced with a new one, the I'D number does not match what is in sprints system, and that will cause no LTE connectivity. Once they correct the ID number in their system to match the new phone, you should have LTE again.

I had the EXACT same problem, no 4g after i replace my original HTC ONE. i had to get my UICC/SIM card reprogrammed at the sprint store and i immediately started getting the 4G signal.:)

My problem is just plain inconsistency with the One. I live .5 miles from a recently lit LTE tower and yet i rarely see the 4g indicator. Whats really strange is the radio can't decide whether to use 3g or 4g. It will sit there and switch from 3g to 4g back and forth(it drives me crazy with 4 bars). I can set my wifes GN2 right next to it and hers locks on 4g 24/7. Of course I've tried the usual PRL and profile and nothing helps. The only thing that comes to mind is maybe the PRL updates do not include these recent tower changes yet.

Prl updates have nothing to do when a tower went 4G active.... Try restarting your phone and or make sure your data is in cdma lte mode.

HI, my HTC One when i select GSM/WCDMA/LET auto, after 30 minutes, i cant make or receive calls, and the same for text msg.

It only works if i change to GSM or WCDMA, if i change do GSM/WCDMA auto its the same problem of LTE.

My sim card is 4G ready.

Any clue for a solution?
