Sprint HTC One

That is incorrect. Both the evo lte and the galaxy s 3 get voice and data on 3g ( my roommate and I both did and we have no lte here. ) the newer phones built it in from last year.

Yeah, yeah, my bad. It was not available previous to any LTE phones though.

You know what will be nice? When specifying the difference between voice and LTE is no longer even relevant.

Just got a box of these in. I'm hoping this is a sign. No info on when to put them out attached though :(

My wife and I both want the One and we also want the $100 each for our current phones. I wonder if HTC will push back the promotion deadline (currently it reads that you must purchase the One by March 31) if all the carriers don't release it this month?

Check my post in the $100 thread. They did push it back, late April.

That's good to hear but I hope it doesn't mean the One won't be released in the US until mid-April. My Verizon contract is up in 10 days and I'm itching to jump ship!

I haven't found any specifics, but has anyone seen what they want to qualify for the credit? Like, I'd rather send in my curve 8310 than my Epic 4G, Nexus S 4G, or Galaxy Nexus...

They did say value of phone or $100, whichever is greater... Which is cool.

Just walked into the sprint store where I had a buddy working. He no longer works there but they said they know when it's coming and it is this month. Couldn't get anything else out of them except for shrugs and grins. B@stards.

One of the most frustrating parts about working in a Sprint store was that they don't trust you with anything they don't want leaked to BGR.

Then tell 'em you want to leak it to Android Central. I'm sure they'll be okay with that.

Where the brave sprint reps at?

I'm with a buddy that still works at Sprint and he said they haven't gotten any dates or product in store yet.

Come on already! I need this out by next wednesday(3/20) I would love to have this for PAX :'(
and my OG evo is dying just in time. hopefully it will hold out just long enough.

My upgrade is April 1st. Hopefully Sprint has it by then so I can at least go in the store and play with it a bit.
But I'll be waiting to see what comes out in the coming months.
The One, the Blackberry Q10 & iPhone 5S are what I'm waiting on to see what they offer before I upgrade.
(I'm indecisive if you couldn't tell, lol)

Update to my previous post:...
Went to a different Sprint store and inquired about supposed HTC problems. This was the response (ad libed because its been a few days and I might have forgotten EXACTLY what they said...)
HTC Sense is very intense and it stresses the processors, thus stressing the batteries...
The batteries after updates cannot handle the loads causing issues and failures...
I asked if Sense 5 was looking like it was lighter, thus not having said issues... They kind of looked at me like a deer in head lights.
They said that at the repair centers, HTC phones are the most brought in...
Continuing to tell me that if I wanted a good phone without worrying if its going to have problems, get the S4...

I'm only posting this because I wasn't all that impressed with the S4. All that airwave gestures will probably frustrate me as I try to touch or think about touching the screen to do something only to have it launch airwave and do something other than what I wanted. On the other hand, the One is quite impressive but I don't want to get stuck with something that is going to give me issues further down the road.

Thanks again to all that can help!
