Sprint LG G4 Marshmallow incoming

Got my update 2 days ago and it seems pretty good so far. Battery life is in my opinion about the same, but that could change once everything settles in. To be honest if I hadn't known I got the update I would probably not even know it, everything looks the same. A couple of different things here and there. One thing I am not sure I like is how when you go to apps there is no longer downloaded, SD card, running and all it is all in one column now. But my device does seem a bit snappier and very fluid, so I guess that is a really good thing.

Has everyone forgotten/never received an update on an android phone? Seriously, I'm asking. I'm not trying to be a smartass and I know the system is kinda broken. It takes forever people. This is the way it's always been. The release is SUPER staggered. Is this surprising to anyone? For the uninitiated, I understand. It's your first rodeo, I get it. Otherwise, you know the drill. You'll receive it when you receive it.

Count your blessings. MM is going to make the phone worse.
I just don't get this. I've had Marshmallow for several days now, and I don't see any worse battery life. Phone certainly seems snappier, too.

I know when they started pushing it.

If that's been your experience, (getting your updated so soon) congratulations. You've been in the minority. Welcome to the majority.

And I wasn't talking specifically to you.

Im not farmiliar with aoftware updates and the hype about them. If I see uodate, i back up my pics and decide if I like it or not. I usually dont because i dont like change. Anyway, yesterday my husband and I got the request to update. He did it. I didnt. His phone keeps power cycling every 3 to 5 minutes. He has booted the phone. Done a factory reset, everything. It keeps asking me to update mine but Im too scared. Any clue on whybhis phone responded this way to the update?

Did the update on Sprint. Now I'm receiving a no sim card error and the home button don't work

Updated to marshmallow two days ago no lag, but I've noticed the battery goes down alot quicker than usual. Does the battery life get better after awhile?

From what I've read, your battery life should suffer for a week, give or take. It should level out. I experienced the same thing on my old Nexus 5.

Got the 6.0 update Friday morning. Haven't noticed many differences between Marshmallow and Lollipop. Don't like how LG got rid of the checkboxes on the e-mail app. But battery life seems fine for now.

Have the update and no issues so far. Seems faster and smoother. Haven't used it enough to assess battery life but I assume it's still going to be relatively bad for me when using the phone

It's all good. I'm still waiting for mine, too. To be honest, it doesn't even sound like it's worth the wait.

My battery issues have mostly worked themselves out, but I still have issues when using my QC Chargers. The temperature always stays high after removing it from the charger and it runs down more quickly.

Also, still can't figure out why "logd" uses so much battery.

I received marshmallow about a week ago and it's been terrible. I've heard mixes reviews over it. My LS991 had been a nightmare since it. I don't like a lot about it. My phone erased my sandisk 64GB sd card and the Sprint store said my card was bad even though it works in my computer and other phones. My touch screen has finally gotten a lot better but it would take about 8 taps to finally turn on my screen and even the power button would take 3 clicks to turn my screen on, and the battery life has been terrible. The same Sprint store that I was at for my sd card said I was making up my issue with the touch screen. My phone says it'll last about 12hrs on 100% charge but I barely get 8 maybe 7 without doing much of anything on the device. The graphics are very laggy in any game that I play but with lollipop my graphics we're great and never missed a beat. I just wished it was polished better than it is. Does anyone else experience these issues?

I go the update 2 days ago (north boston)
Guess it is not by location, but by serial number or something like that.
