Sprint Note 3 upgrade cost?

Hello All,

anyone w pointers about Note 3 upgrade cost / discounts ?

My upgrade eligibility is Jan 1, and it can't come fast enough!!! Simplexity run websites like wirefly / walmart wireless / radioshack wireless says $299, but amazon.com sez $149. Is this true? I can't really check the real price because the web site won't let me check prices until my eligibility date.

$199 on an upgrade at Best Buy. They also have Samsung reps there to answer any questions. The Samsung rep rooted my phone for me while I was there so it was a great experience. Don't root your phone unless you are an experienced user however it will give you additional speed, better battery life and debloat some of the Samsung junk apps as well as give you access to rooted programs like Titanium BU, Rom Toolbox, and many others. Enough about rooting. The Amazon upgrade cost (at least a couple of days ago) was also $199 for an upgrade and the $149 was for a new contract. This was for the Sprint model which I assume you have because you are in the Sprint forum GREAT PHONE, couldn't be happier. Enjoy. (I have to add Note 3 to my signature)

on the rooted phone, can you get hotspot?

i hear that Sprint service still goes bonkers about rooting, and won't touch it if there is a technical issue once rooted.

Are you looking to get the 16GB or 32GB version? That will affect the price. Also, make sure you speak with Sprint before you make your decision. They may have some options you may not be aware of. If you don't upgrade thru Sprint, Best Buy may be the way to go. They offer great support with their deals.

The $149 price on Amazon is also for upgrades (just ordered one for myself two days ago)!

Where'd you get it from? My upgrade was Jan 1 also ...the day Best Buy decided to increase the price from $199 to $349.

amazon.com just increased the price again, $199!!!! Sprint Note 3. Received the sweet little phone today! Paid $149.
