Hi,

I am having trouble sending & receiving Sprint's picture mail with Handcent. Is there a workaround or solution that anyone can help me with?

Thank you!

What problems are you having?

From within the conversation hit the menu button then attach, select either pictures (find your picture) or camera (take your picture), attach and send.

Oh, i was trying to send it from the picture instead of doing it from the conversation.

The download button wasn't working for receiving picture mail yesterday. Today it works, go figure.

Thanks though.

I had a problem receiving a picture mail earlier today. Then I turned off my WiFi and I was able to get the pic. I don't understand why you can't recieve picture mail or use Sprint tv while you're on WiFi. I remember having a problem like this when I had my diamond, but I never had this problem with the pre.

Known Hero bug. The device is SUPPOSED to pull the mms data down using the mobile network (if it's on) but it is not reliably switching. It does work sometimes, but not very often. It's on the fix list for the MR update supposedly in the works. FYI you can't get SMS/MMS data on any phone using wifi, but most phones will use the mobile network seamlessly while still keeping wifi enabled.

In short, it should work just like your Pre. It will when they fix it :)

Does Handcent properly send MMS? I know ChompSMS can't, or couldn't. I tried once to send a picture through Handcent but it failed, this may have been because I was on Wifi though.
