I could have sworn banzai had a fully untouched "stock" version of ec05 but you had to clockwork the phone first before flashing (basicaly it was a rom) but it seems like they removed it?

I just want an update.zip from samsung, is that too much to ask...? I cant do OTA's, im not in the sprint network

Unless you like force closing your camera in sports mode and a host of other problems, stay where you are

What other host of problems? I'm loving EB13. And I didn't even know my camera had a sports mode until people starting talking about the bug (although that has been fixed with a custom kernel).

Wow I couldn't agree more! All the complaining about the Sports mode bug is what led me to discover that my camera had a Sports mode! I'm loving EB13 as well with a few minor gripes so I'm glad I grabbed it up and installed it when I did...

That doesn't stop the fact that I'm waiting patiently for EC05 though...

What other host of problems are you refering to? EB13 works just fine on my Epic.

Camera sports mode force close is no big deal at the moment. I never used that Camera feature anyway. I don't make videos by candle light. Everything else works without issues.

Did you actually install EB13? If so, please mention what other "host of problems" you are referring to.....

For me, there is keyboard input lag that was not there before and 4g constantly connects and disconnects in a spot where I had an unwavering signal for 6 months.

I could write off Bluetooth and say it might be a secondary hardware issue. what gets me is the data and and location.

side note: I feel like this has been said. but has it? the Android guy looks like a Canadian from south park.

screen orientation, lags about 3 seconds, where before the update it was instant. And sometime my speaker stops working and makes a popping sound.

That's ironic - on XDA there are many people saying their data is no longer working after flashing to EC05.

The force closes are probably from a conflict specific to your system setup/configuration. No problems here nor have I heard many people claim this to be an EB13 problem.

I've used GPS a few times for nav and such without problems. But people have been having GPS issues without any certain consistency on pretty much every OS.

Bluetooth I can't comment on because I don't use it.

This has been a problem since launch day, it's not exclusive to EB13.

I've had keyboard problems since Eclair, but luckily there was a recent keyboard fix included in some custom kernels. That fixed it right up for me. As for the signal it may be service in your area. Also see my reply above.

This has been happening to people since leak 1 of Froyo. Use this to fix it. And the speaker problem I have heard people claim since Eclair.

I fixes that with terminal emulator. didn't bother me because there was a 100% fix.

my GPS works great. its the cell net location that gets me.
