Sprint version no LG Gallery or music app?

store dont think they sell alot =3...

Also on my note7 i had almost everything use thirdparty app... so I dont think I miss anything

I work at Sprint, and we got our demo yesterday along with 2 to sell on the 28th, but I don't remember seeing those apps installed. I'll double check when I play with it today.
I can tell you that they are not installed.

That's you for some they enjoy the LG apps built specifically for the devices and for me particularly it takes away from the full experience so yes I want them. Just an example on my G5 there are many settings in the video player that I used and enjoyed. Very cool features like time Lapse editing slomo etc. They worked wonderful because they were built specifically for the device. I can't use these on the V20 because it's missing along with just about every other lg app. It's stupid. It makes no sense. Leave it up to sprint.

You could be right still I never really had a LG phone yet to check out the stock app but with experiencing the note/samsung app ... didnt like much of default samsung app. Who knows if the LG app was there and I played with it... I might like it. I could go play witha G5 at store display to see what I might be missing.

I am also in the same boat where I don't have an LG stock messaging, gallery, or calendar. Really annoying.

I found a really cool calendar widget that works with Google's calendar.

I'd rather not have to make sacrifices on things that should be there from the get-go. With the Note 7 fiasco, 2016 has been a cumbersome year for me with regard to cellphones. I was hoping I wouldn't have any issues with the V20, but alas, here we are.

Hope they bring em in an update. Only thing that can be done at this point short of returning it.

This is BS. removing stock apps??

I have never heard of this.

I don't think it was on purpose, as some stock apps were still there (contacts, calculator). But who knows, maybe it was done on purpose and those are the only two apps that Google/Sprint didn't want to bother with.

I'm wondering if LG had done this as part of the obvious slimming down of the skin or did something go wrong when I used LG backup and restore to transfer data from the G5 to the V20. Basically I have no stock LG music or gallery app. It uses Google photos and Google music which seems strange seeing how I can see both gallery and music apps in the tutorial photos within the software. Please advise and thank you.

Edit* also missing is the LG messaging app. Google messenger is preloaded.

Got mine earlier today, I had pre-ordered it on the 21st. Both those apps are also missing for me, it does seem like sprint removed these apps or maybe the unlocked variants are the only ones who have them

Have them on T-Mobile... Don't use them but have them. I use Poweramp alpha 4(music)and Google photos

There is no Lg email app either! I like the stock email and gallery. Hopefully I can find somewhere to download them
