You're a real sweetheart because I've had other choice words for them and their hypocrisy. They say one thing, then another, and then yet another. I don't get why if they don't have an answer to something they simply don't say "I don't know", "Stop Bugging Me", or "I'm a Low Level - No Nothing and I'm Kept out of the Loop of Every Company Decision"....It would be so much easier for them.

Agreed. It's just been so bad this update. I remember being told" I don't know" during the ICS update to the EVO 3D. I hate that the carriers have so much control over the updates.

I'm pretty sure you're "FrustratedinEdwardsville" (if I'm wrong, sorry) and you know what's been going on in the Sprint Forums.

Awwww...my secret identity is blown. Dang it! But oh yeah, man! That is a war zone now over there! If it was getting pushed out to phones now, Sprint Care would have made a sticky on the top of the section saying, 'KITKAT IS OUT! LEAVE US ALONE!'

Again... Released by whom? First off... The people you spoke with would not actually know... Only those at corporate would actually know, and would not know until they have the firmware in hand from LG, which only happened recently. Again, it was LG that stated "by end of first quarter" which Sprint people were merely repeating. Now... Sprint is seriously dropping the ball here, as everyone else has already loaded up their version of the firmware with their own bloatware, and released... Why is Sprint so slow on this? Probably because they have bigger fish to fry, and their customers don't like them anyway... So why rush.

My point, again, is that I have seen no actual written commitment from Sprint to update the G2 by end of quarter, and this being Friday, and Monday being the last day of the quarter, it's probably *not* coming before then. If it does, GREAT, you an I will BOTH be thrilled. But I am not holding my breath. Could be weeks, for all we know. You can call Sprint Customer Care and ask if you like, but they cannot tell you the truth about it, because they don't know either.

I don't really think Sprint has dropped anything. Verizon's G2 still hasn't gotten Kit Kat, and they are supposedly the number one carrier that everyone drools over. The Verizon G2 has been out for a lot longer then ours. Sprint was the last carrier to release this phone so if we get the update before Verizon I'd say Sprint slam dunked the ball and gave the virtual finger to Verizon.

Also, for all we know it could have been released today, it took 2 weeks from the release date for me to get the Sprint spark update and it was a small simple update. So whether or not YOU get it on your phone on Monday doesn't mean they didn't release it by the end of first quarter.

The only reason why I don't think it is being sent out now is because no one has said anything about getting it on the Sprint boards or here. But I could be wrong. Who knows?

Don't listen to Sprint store reps.
Don't talk to Sprint store reps.
Don't make Sprint store reps think they can help you.
And always call financial care before you pickup your device in store.

These are the key tactics to having a successful store visit.

(I talked to financial care, here's my account #, and please get it quickly without asking me if there is anything else you can do to help me.)

If y'all keep worrying about the update to kitkat, you're going to get gray hair.

I wanted to KitKat so bad that I went to the store and bought a whole big bag of the little snacks for each day that Sprint don't post the update

Never heard of financial care, what would they do? And, if I didn't talk to store reps, I wouldn't have gotten my tablet for free.

Financial Care is for when you have billing issues with your account. I call them because they notetate everything on your account. Sprint is not going to mess up their money. Also stupid reps can't argue with what's on their in-store system.

It's called "Covering Your Bases".

Do you really think that tablet was free?
Didn't you have to get a data plan for 2 years to get it?

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - The Rumors, Conjecture and Hearsay thread.

I got a funny story about today.
It's called, TAPPING.

I tapped when I woke up.
I tapped when I got dressed.
I tapped on the way to work.
I tapped while at work.
I tapped on the way home.
I tapped while paying bills.
I tapped before I paid my Sprint bill.
I tapped after I didn't pay my Sprint bill.
I tapped all the way home.
I now sit here shaking my head, while I tap.

UPDATE....! GODDAMMIT...!
