So I finally got the update, and I still don't connect to lte, I live in Whittier, and I've been to downtown LA, still no lte. Anyone think this is a problem with the phone? My friend hasn't gotten the update and he's been able to connect to lte since he got the phone, everywhere we go he gets lte and I don't literally 2 feet away from each other

Just got it here in Las Colinas about 11:30pm CDT...Im currently at work so gotta go home to see if my wife's G2 got it yet...At least we know roll-out has not been stopped

Got it today in SE MN. No major change as I'm not in a Spark area but at least it resolved the Hangouts MMS problem.

Got my update this AM also.
Noticed the new Sprint Spark splash screen during boot-up.
My Nova launcher lets me hide the notification bar so the spinning icon will not bother me.

All Bands enabled and priorities set correctly.

Priority 1: Band 25
Priority 2: Band 26
Priority 3: Band 41

Now we wait for KitKat.
Current rumor is March.

Same results when I updated. Isn't it bands 41 and 26 though that will provide the highest speeds? I've re-prioritized them so that these two bands are now 1 & 2 priority. Anyone know why this might not be a good idea?

If there are towers broadcasting Band 26 or 41 in your area then you now have access to them.
Otherwise, it may hurt your battery if the phone is always trying to connect to a Band that is not broadcasting in your area.

Here are my results before and after update. No Spark coverage yet.
First one is 4G
2 and 3 are 3G
4 and 5 are 4G after upate
Mt Laurel, NJ 08054 area

First, so a PRL and Profile update and then restart.
If that does not help, do this:

Dial ##3282#
Hit "LTE"
Hit "View"
That will show which Bands are Enabled. All should show as ""Enable"
Hit "Band Priority" and it will show them listed 1-3.
It should be Band 25 - 1 Band 26 - 2 Band 41 - 3

Yep, did the PRL and Profile, just ck'd the bands, all enabled and prioritized in same order you said. I didn't think my area was even in the Spark locations, Louisville KY. I can see this being a major battery hog. Thanks for the help Mav

i'd recommend Band 41 as 1...Band 25 as 2.....Band 26 as 3

Thanks Mav. I just got the update today as well and after the update my speed test results were really bad. I took your advice and updated my PRL and Profile and then I got much better speeds the first time but ever since, the speeds are really bad (e.g. 0.03 down and .076 up).

All three bands are enabled and in the order of 25, 26, 41. I'm right in downtown Chicago so I know spark is available.
