No you hzve to wait for it to get pushed to your phone. The update android opion in the settings is to update your phone afterit is sent yo your phone. Example... you get a message an update is ready and you chose wait instead of update now. Youcould then go there and choose to update. But yoy have to wait for it to be pushed to you.

It's exciting watching everyone's enthusiasm for this. I personally am going to wait to flash instead of OTA. Can't wait to see some custom ROMs with this baby!

No need to wait. There's a good chance we'll have custom ROMs before you get the OTA update sometime in that 4 day window.

Some quick math - rollout will be over a 4 day period, the first day starting at 9pm. If the last day is for the complete 24 hours, you have a 75 hour window to get the update. So chances that you'll get the OTA before an update.zip is posted, say - within the first hour, are 1/75 or a 1.3% chance.

Behave everyone, I know its frustrating and the wait is getting unbareable but we are very close. No sense in complaining because we know its not going to start for another few hours. Let's keep Android Central a respectable place.

has anyone seen this Samsung then click software i know somethings have been posted but this is the first time i have seen this one(the middle one is for windows) it looks like the updater for the samsung moment but it is for the sph-d700 it's the EB13 and it is ver. froyo update. sorry if this has been posted but just ran across it and it wasn't on there earlier................... Lol nevermind I miss read the last post . The SW Upgrade tool download link is not working . But I am still downloading the update for froyo.

The download that is 201 megs is the FroyoUpgrade tool so it should be the update and tool bundled together. Still have 8 minutes left on the download.
