sticking with the note 8

I broke the display on my Note 8 last night and the LCD is also damaged. I found a repair place within a few miles of me that I'm going to bring as soon as they open this morning to see how much it will cost to repair. If it's under $300, I'll get it repaired because a new phone will cost far more then that.

I too have no problem keeping my Note 8 another year and I bought it on launch day. The battery easily lasts me the full day with plenty to get me through the night till the next morning.

It's been a great phone and I hope I can get it fixed in the morning.

I see no reason to upgrade to the Note 9 at all I would rather wait for next year's model.

Am I the only one that likes the yellow pen with the blue phone? If for no other reason, the added visibility will come in handy, especially now that you'll presumably have it out more, other than just jotting a note and putting it away.

I got some hands on with a N9 yesterday at BB, I like it, not sure how I feel about the s-pen coloring... I have always gone to the new Note version as they came out, I am really wavering this time. For me there is nothing really compelling, Screen size .1 bigger ok, screen quality about the same to me, use the s-pen as a camera remote... ok kind of cool, new gen processor good but only an incremental upgrade from the N8. That said, I am wavering especially because these devices are now a 1k spend. not sure if i want to blow 1k on replacing something that currently works.... My 2 cents for what they are worth..

I ended up PreOrdering the Note 9, with the help of my husband-he got a Samsung account so I can do the update. I'm either going to give him my unlocked NOte 8 or sell it to pay a chunk on the NOte 9 bill. Interest Free and Samsung upgrade

LOL It wasn't that bad. I put the sim in an old S7 Edge these two days. That phone seems so ancient now compared to my Note 8.

I'll be sticking with my Note 8 for the foreseeable future. I may buy a new memory card, just to have that little bit of extra space, but not sure I really need it.

One thing I wish would come down the pipes is the Dex Dual Screen. I've always complained that you defeat the purpose of the phone by doing this. But I will make do even if it doesn't come down the pipe. LOL

For once, I am perfectly happy with my current phone (N8) I don't feel the need to upgrade to the N9 (even though technically I could since I have the ATT Next Every Year payment plan). I'm going to hold off until the N10. That is when I will upgrade
