Stock browser refreshes tabs

Hey, guys. I ordered a DNA to use on AT&T. One of my annoyances with the One X was the multitasking quirks, especially the way it reloaded web pages every single time. I also noticed this behavior on other phones with 1 gb of RAM, so I figured that the DNA might be better with 2 gb.

I played with one in the Verizon store and noticed that the stock browser does this. If I open two pages on two different tabs and switch between them, it will refresh the page every single time. I downloaded Chrome and it did not have this behavior. So this seems to be an issue with the stock browser only? If so, why in the world did they do this? The browser is really good otherwise and Chrome runs laggy. I suppose I'll end up using Dolphin, but I was hoping to be able to use stock.

I never used the stock browser, so I can't say. One thing that I'm guessing all browsers do is, if your session has timed out with whatever website you're on since last opening it, it'll become unavailable. I guess it can't be avoided.
