Stock Weather Widget not working

Over the last few days the stock HTC Sense Weather widget (time, weather, date) has refused to sync the weather and location. Instead, it displays "weather unavailable" and "location unavailable". I've tried deleting it and reinstalling it without effect. Other location-dependent apps (Maps, Beautiful Widgets, etc) have no issue with location. I'm on Verizon and I'm wondering if the recent June security patch could have glitched something. Any others with this issue?
