How do you stop the browser from opening up mobile versions of webpages?

I don't think (unless someone corrects me) you can control this with the stock browser. In Dolphin HD, you can set the user agent to desktop, instead of Android, which will always direct you to the full version of websites. Sometimes adding /index.html to the end of the link will also get you the full desktop version.

Go into about:config and then change the UAString to desktop??
Maybe that would work..

I know on other android devices you can on the stock browser.

Most [decent] sites have a link on the page somewhere that says "View normal" or something like that. I've tried the "index.html" trick and it's work a few times, but I usually get redirected to the mobile version.
