Storage at 32GB or 16GB for Verizon?

The rezound looks great but it has a really small battery

Every Htc phone has a small battery

At least the HTC is capable of battery swapping or higher capacity batteries. The same cannot be said about the RAZR.

I can honestly say that if the RAZR wasn't fixed battery, I'd be checking one out. Having never used an Android phone, I know the first one I touch will be a keeper, so I'm trying to stay away from all things not-Nexus. That RAZR is nice though, but that non-removable battery just kills it for me.

I highly recommend staying away from an HTC phone for a first time Android user. I currently have an Incredible but will never get another HTC phone.

HTC'S have sub-par radios, horrendous battery life and a lousy track record of OS updates.

Go Moto or Sammy if you want to see ICS any time soon.

Sent from my Droid, the only mobile OS that matters.

I would have to agree that paying 300 for a phone with 16gb of non-expandable storage is steep, but with cloud features becoming more the norm, this is the future of phone technology. Micro sd is convenient but soon the cloud will takeover and we won't need huge amounts of on board memory.

Going with Sammy for timely updates? That made me laugh out loud! If I recall the charge is the only 4g phone on Verizon without even gingerbread and its an official "Droid" lol

Cloud storage sounds great until you're on a data plan that limits you to a few gigs of 3G\4G a month. Until carriers make mobile data cheaper, I think a lot of people want the option of ample local storage.

Reading reviews on the Rezound indicate it's not really good company among the 1st gen LTE units, it's a different phone, compared to previous models. Battery life is better, even w/ @, less than ideal, 1620mah batt., signal strength/radio is improved etc.,. I don't think it should be written off and lumped in w/ the rest.

My Inc had the famous battery issues. More disturbing than that was the Gingerbread update they put out. It was trash and then the fix would not load on most people's phones. Six weeks later I find a workaround on AC. No more HTC phones for me.

My HTC Incredible had the batter issue. Well until I started flashing other ROMs. Radios etc have never been a problem. Still using it, got it on release day. The more I read about this phone the more I'm turned off on it, however it all wild rumor at this point, think I'll reserve judgement one way or the other until after it's released. In the meantime I'm enjoying playing with ROMs on the Inc.

After owning a fascinate and now charge, I agree Samsung has a dismal upgrade history. It's a shame for the non techie/rooter person.

If, however you are willing to take advantage of rooting and installing custom roms and kernels you can make Samsung phones run fine.
My charge has 2.3.6 and is just flawless. Considering this, the wait for the gn is really tolerable unlike some of you with broken phones.

Surely owning a nexus with ics out of the box and with google handling the updates we should be fine on the update scene.
