storing offline music with spotify on sd card

Hi, I am trying to store offline music using spotify onto the SD card. Although in the phone settings it says my SD card has ~14 gb free (out of 16 gb), according to spotify and astro file manager there is only a total of 8 gb total space on the sd card. what am i doing wrong?

In spotify it allows you to type the location of the SD card. Is the location: "/mnt/sdcard" ? When I type that in, it tells me I only have 8gb free...

Solved problem. In case anyone else is wondering, here are the steps:

-Closed spotify on PC.
-Cleared cache in spotify on phone
-Logged out of spotify on phone
-Opened spotify on phone, clicked menu button at log in screen and chose SD card
-Specified SD card location as "/mnt/sdcard-ext"
-Logged in to spotify on phone
-Opened spotify on PC.

Now reads as a total of 16 gb available.

That's because "sdcard" is actually part of the internal memory. "sdcard-ext" is the actual sd card external storage. I have this problem in Mog because it automatically stores downloaded music to the sd card, but it's using the internal storage and there is no way to change it to "sd-ext". Not going to switch to Spotify just for that though.... really like Mog's interface.
