Yes, I have searched, found old threads, and I do know I had this last year and Verizon bought.

SO< Has anyone figured out anyway to watch NFL games over the holidays, especially while driving

Since we have 3G, 4G, Mobile Hotspot, and Wireless Tethering capabilities, with laptops and netbooks, it seems like there has got to be a way someone has figured this out.

Please chime in if you have suggestions that will work

I know that some rooted folks have figured out how to install Verizon's NFL Mobile App on Sprint Android phones with near 100% functionality, but it also requires regular "maintenance" to keep it running.

I remember hearing BitBop made a deal with FOX to start carrying NFL games, not sure what became of that but it's worth checking out.

I had looked into the Verizon app, downloaded on my phone (not rooted) and it wouldn't open, but they said its up and down because of Verizon shutting the door. So don't know if root is needed. Yes, I know how, had done this with DK28, unsatisfactory results (especially battery), so back to stock waiting for OTA.
Will be traveling over Christmas and don't feel like maintaining phone with root problems just in case.

Looked at Bitbop and channelsurfing.net, both require subscriptions, looks like tv shows, not sports things. But great suggestions,

Any other ideas??

It's not the cheapest way, but I am using a slingbox pro hd with the slingbox app. Works great on 3g and wow on 4g or wifi. I sling my TIVO and have a fully functional remote, can even see netflix through the TIVO/slingbox.

I have a Slingbox Pro HD and I love it. I used to use it with my PalmOS but now I have the Epic, it works great on it. It really shuts people up with phones that can't stream TV. If you are on wifi or 4G, the video is so smooth and in HD. You can get a Slingbox for about $100 + $30 app. It is so worth it!
