Stuck in headphone mode

Got the S5 back in March about a week ago my phone went into headphone mode. I've tried all the tips and tricks to resolve it. All except factory resetting if anyone has a suggestion as resetting my phone would be my last option. Did the cotton swab, paperclip, inserting headphones in and out repeatedly, restarting, taking battery out, switching to mono and then switching it out.

Monday I called Samsung Tech Support.. Couldn't find the problem either so I sent them the phone for repair. Still under warranty so no dime out of my pocket. its being shipped today so I should see it no later then next Tuesday.

I have had this problem as well. I just blew some air in the headphone port and that fixed it. I have my phone in my pocket a lot and lint gets in the port. Hope this helps you or someone else.
