Having serious issues since the latest update.

Battery is last 3 or 4 hours now.

Getting a notification that my "su binary" needs to be updated. Tap to continue and then it fails saying that "gaining root access......fail!" I am rooted and rootchecker confirms the root. The calibration tool doesn't work either saying i'm not rooted.

I don't know if that has anything to do with my battery life though since non rooted users are having battery issues post update also.

Any idea's????

What I would do is manually install the SBF file that you can find floating around the internet and update that way. I installed manually and then rooted with no problems, and my binary updated as well. As far as battery I haven't been able to test it out much, but many people are complaining about horrible battery life.

i'm sorry - what is the sbf file exactly?

Can i unroot the phone and re-root it perhaps?

thank you .

here's what I did since the last update didn't remove super user but it unrooted my phone update super user then run one click root and every thing was back to normal

I went to the market, clicked uninstall superuser. It didn't uninstall the program completely but it did remove an update. I then re-installed the update and I was able to successfully update the su binary.
