My wife told me they gonna try to ride me out till the 15 days and then try to claim they can't accept it because it's been over 15 days. I'm inclined to believe her. Another 3-5 days to get a "mailed label" then have to talk to them? Just to get a return? Sigh. I really wish I just got the Note 8. If I have to I'll just have to sell this.
Make sure you save all email correspondence with them, even if they don't respond. If this is their game plan then it won't work, File a chargeback with CC card company, file a BBB complaint and file a complaint with the Attorney General as well.

Got a FedEx envelope with a padded one inside label attached. Its not going to Palo Alto, its going to Tennessee. Found this paper inside from Asurion. I'm guessing this phone will be used as someones insurance replacement.
Well my return process has begun. Very strange that I have to wait 3-5 business days just for someone to call me.
Just my opinion, but I do not see Essential surviving to v2 of their phone. I see them folding within a year. This launch is so bad in so many ways they won't be able to sell enough phones to pay the bills.

This is an odd line they keep adding to their return confirmations given that very few are returning it based on the design or build quality. Not meeting or exceeding expectations is the very reason many are going back.Essential Phone is a beautiful device that we can confidently say will exceed your expectations, should you choose to reconsider in the future.
So do we have 15 days from receipt to request the refund?
As long as you initiate refund request before 15 days of delivery you should be fine. If they take time to send shipping packages etc it's on them.
But from your side make sure you have an email proof which shows you requested return before 15 days after delivery.
