Switching to Note 8

Fact of the matter is that not all our experiences are the same, so don't go around putting opinions as facts.

What we can say for certain now is that Pixel 2 XL has a terrible Display and the normal Pixel has good quality units.

You can literally take the first part of the quote here (in bold) and apply it to the second part of your quote. Lol. That is funny.

I had two N8s in the last month and I don't miss the phone at all loving my pixel 2 best choice ever

If I wanted a Samsung display I would just get the Pixel 2.

Oh wait, I do have a Pixel 2. Impeccable build quality, incredible battery life, baby butt silky OS, best effing camera, and I can actually sit down with it inside my Levi's 501. Oh, when is that hidden chip going to come alive? How about 8.1?, 8.1 customized to reduce burn in? What has Samsung done for you lately? Extra bloat was free?

However, I don't get a pen to play with. Yeah I think I am okay.

You have a Samsung display, you don't have THE Samsung display. I think by now everyone bar you knows that.

I switched from a note 8 to ordering the pixel 2 xl. The note 8 was a good phone I just couldn't get used the inconsistent software one minute it would be blazing fast then lag from no where. I know people will say that it's the fast phone which for a Samsung it is. But my secondary phone is one plus 5 which i never have had a slow down or a stutter. Hardware wise the note 8 is gorgeous.
I'm doing the same thing. I switched because of updates and front facing speakers. Now I'm having regrets because I love wireless charging and the option of the SD card and headphone jack.

Not sure what to do.

Try the Pixel for a week or two, and then make a decision.

If hardware is that important to you, especially those features, I would switch back. You know what your getting with either phone, and I'm sure there are some deals for the Note 8.

I still have it. I have it sitting next to me on the desk... Just not sure either way I can still use both cause of digits with T-Mobile. Just want to keep my main call and texts on one device...rather than switch my sim card back and forth.
