Swype broken after aospc flash :(

I flashed aospcmod and reinstalled Swpye beta from their website. It worked correctly for about 5 minutes and now when i start to "swype" the keyboard flashes a blue border and nothing comes up.

I really like swype.... Help!

Go into settings> keyboard> check android keyboard & uncheck swype> back out to settings> go back to keyboard> uncheck android keyboard and check swype.

Just switch back to Android keyboard and then back to swipe by long pressing the input area

Or you can use Titanium Backup to freeze the android keyboard, then only Swype will be available.

I recently switched tothe FlexT9 keyboard, it's got Swype style swyping, handwriting recognition, and offline voice recognition built in. Swype has been too slow putting out updates IMO, and FlexT9 has so many more options. The swyping feature seems to work better with FlexT9 as well.

Why did you choose the flext9 over swype? Care to give some comparison points?

The keys on the FlexT9 keyboard are larger, making it easier to trace from one to the next without overshooting.

The tracing recoginition seems better, less errors, and if you get the wrong word, you only have to press backspace once to delete it.

I also like having the word prediction results show up in a line above the keyboard, rather than in a window like Swype's does.

Adding words to the dictionary seems easier as well.

There is also handwriting recognition, so for those who like to take notes, you can write them out, though I have trouble writing a word that starts with the letter t.
