I accepted and installed the latest maintenance update this morning. After the phone rebooted I noticed that ALL the apps I've moved to the SD card would not launch! Note, I'm running stock OS and moved apps through the manage applications area of the settings.
The error message I received was: Could not launch the requested activity.
I rebooted the phone again and now I see that all the apps on the SD card (except for 2) now display the correct icons and work. However, the Movies and MyPiano apps show a generic market icon and give the error message above when trying to launch.
Ugh, annoying because I have to install the app (the market doesn't even think it is installed), then uninstall, then reinstall, and then move to the SD card. (If I try to move before uninstalling and reinstalling then I get an error that the app can't be moved to SD card when I try the first time.)
Is Android flaky about apps on the SD card? It seems that often when I reboot there is usually an app that dies and I have to do this dance all over again. Help?
